Yasmina is well known for elevating the status of Middle Eastern dance as high art and conveying its relationship with Arab music and culture. After many years of performing throughout the Middle East for royalty and heads of state, Yasmina Ramzy founded the critically acclaimed Arabesque Dance Company and Orchestra, Arabesque Academy and the International Bellydance Conference of Canada (IBCC). Her continued support as artistic mentor to Nations United is greatly appreciated. |

The Haddads have been longtime supporters of Nations United by sponsoring a diverse range of projects and events. Their support also extends beyond their network here in Toronto. Both brothers are active members and supporters of Youth in Malawi – a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children in Malawi, Africa. Perry has an incredible knack for bringing traditional artistic techniques into the world of new media. While some claim to be people of arts and letters, Perry is a man of vectors and code. His continued support in all things web and media for Nations United has gotten him a second nomination for Appreciation. |
