About NU

Nations United is a humanitarian developmental organization that works towards the uniting of nations for the express purpose of raising awareness about humanitarian causes globally. Nations United (NU) utilizes partners (individuals, corporate, governmental) and a variety of social media outlets to accomplish this. Furthermore NU helps to structure, advertise, expose and manage projects through the power of international unity between different individuals and communities.

The causes that Nations United focuses on are diverse and not limited to a specific region or issue.

NU uses, but is not limited to, such platforms as Facebook and Twitter in order to inform and focus the international community of different causes worldwide.  The center of the platform begins with the Nations United Facebook and Twitter page.

Apart from our social media pages, the Nations United team also assists in spreading the NU vision by using their personal pages as a sub-platform for discussions and support.  Their personal social media pages can be accessed through the NU team.

In addition to Social Media, Nations United annually holds an Awards Ceremony to give recognition to those who have showed their support to the organization and its followers. This event is also a place in which all who have participated in Nations United’s global projects can meet each other and share ideas.

Our VISION:

Nations United believes that everyone in the world should have the same Human Rights, and that these individuals are capable of making a difference, and that this difference happens when people come together to discuss, create and inspire.

Coming together shouldn’t only be limited to the people in your community or country, but be accessible to the world. Nations United creates a sense of community on an international level by encouraging participation of followers to support projects from all around the globe.

Our MISSION:
Sustainability is the key and solution to every community’s, country’s or nation’s issues. Projects should not be aimed at achieving temporary outcomes, but should have a lasting effect on generations to come. Humanitarian aid is a very common way of helping those in need, but it is ineffective with solving the root of the problem, it’s serves only as temporary relief. Nations United believes that lasting change comes from the bottom up; sustainability, in which the people are the ones motivated with positive action, instead of programs that are implemented from the top down.

This is why Nations United is introducing the term ‘Neo-humanitarianism’.

Neo-humanitarianism: a form of humanitarianism that aims at creating sustainable development by utilizing local resources.

Faces of Transformation is a web-based humanitarian reality program bringing 11 participants working on 11 different projects while competing for one to be the face of our organization.
