Six Months Of Nations United

BeirutWe at Nations United are pleased to announce our 6th month as a campaign. In only half a year we have developed several humanitarian initiatives, built new relationships, supported upcoming artists, and shared our message of global unity with thousands through our online presence.

We are taking another big step this month, in the direction of Beirut, Lebanon, where we are set to establish a community film centre in the BBC refugee camp. This initiative, a partnership with the Women’s Health Organization, aims to provide new opportunities in cinema and multimedia.

Also concerning the Women’s Health Organization (WHO), Nations United creator, Chaker Khazaal, will accept the role as spokesperson for the WHO while in Beirut. He is looking forward to working closely with WHO on all projects and is especially enthusiastic about their support of postgraduate education for Palestinian women.

Monday, September 13th, Nations United is hosting a press conference to share our campaign vision and to formally announce the Lebanese Cinema & Television Festival set to take place in March 2011.

We look forward for sharing our campaign and upcoming movie with nations uniting for art, education and culture.
